Crawler Gen 3 travels along the internal surface of a wind-turbine blade to capture structural and visual condition data. Its sensing package combines 3D lidar, a 360-degree 5K camera and a 61-megapixel camera focused on the root area. Adaptive lighting maintains image quality as the robot moves through the dark, tapered blade interior.
