About Airbound TRT
TRT uses a blended-wing-body tailsitter configuration, allowing the complete airframe to rotate between vertical take-off and efficient wingborne cruise. The architecture avoids separate lift motors and cruise propulsion, helping Airbound keep the all-up weight close to 2.5 kilograms while carrying roughly a one-kilogram payload.
The aircraft is intended to launch and land without a runway, charging pad or permanent ground crew. Airbound is targeting medical, e-commerce and public-service routes in infrastructure-poor areas; published range, speed, noise and delivery-cost figures remain company targets associated with an early commercial and pilot programme.
