About Ami Desktop

Ami Desktop uses the same compact social-robot architecture as Azi Desktop with a female-presenting facial design. The 525 mm-high, 8.5 kg unit has 32 actuated degrees of freedom: five in the neck and 27 controlling the eyes, lips and other facial features. Cameras, microphones and speakers give conversational software the sensing and output channels needed for gaze, speech and expression.

Engineered Arts’ Tritium platform coordinates animation and exposes controls for remote operation, scripted behaviour and third-party AI integration. Teams can place the robot on a desk, reception counter or exhibition stand and run live conversations without installing a full-size humanoid body. Ami is therefore an embodied interface for social AI and human–robot interaction, not a mobile or manipulation platform.
