About Polaris

Polaris is a large lunar rover with a 90-kilogram payload capacity. Instruments, drills, excavators and robot arms can mount above or below the main deck, with the rover providing power, communications and protection for surface operations.

Four-wheel drive, skid steering and rocker suspension provide 55 centimetres of ground clearance and obstacle traversal up to 40 centimetres. Stereo vision, inertial sensors, wheel sensing and Sun sensors support autonomous and teleoperated navigation. Astrobotic offers lander integration, mission planning and lunar operations.
