About Y6S Plus

Y6S Plus is an electric passenger-aircraft concept using six independently powered rotors around a carbon-composite cabin. The proposed architecture provides triple redundancy across selected propulsion and control functions and avoids the runway required by a conventional fixed-wing aircraft. Autonomous Flight stated a cruise speed of approximately 125 mph, range of about 80 miles and capacity for six occupants.

The aircraft was intended to support urban and regional routes between vertiports, with the company responsible for the airframe, electric propulsion, flight controls and planned autonomous operation. Assembly and delivery were originally targeted for 2023. Y6S Plus remains a historical development concept and has not entered customer service as a commercial eVTOL aircraft.
