About AVATAAR
AVATAAR takes off and flies as a multirotor before entering the water and continuing as an underwater vehicle. This allows one platform to survey a location from above, transition through the surface and inspect submerged structures or objects without transferring the mission to a separate ROV.
Its underwater sensor options include multibeam imaging sonar, cameras, lighting, Doppler velocity logging, USBL positioning and an acoustic modem. The dual-domain architecture supports port and offshore inspection, environmental monitoring, tactical reconnaissance and search missions requiring both rapid aerial access and close submerged observation.
