About Borg 01
Borg 01 was presented as a modular human-scale robot capable of switching between a bipedal lower body and a wheeled base. The architecture was intended to combine broad workplace reach with the option of stable, energy-efficient mobility for factory and logistics floors. Borg announced approximately 170 cm height, 70 kg mass and a 12 kg operating payload for the platform.
The company also developed compact high-torque actuators for the platform, including a stated 160 Nm module weighing around 720 g. Borg 01 remained an announced development platform and did not progress into a deployed industrial humanoid. Borg’s current autonomous-workforce programme begins with a large logistics workflow.
