About MAX
MAX is a human-scale service and concierge robot used within Certis’ wider security and facilities operations. The platform combines indoor autonomous navigation, environmental awareness and conversational interaction for greeting visitors, providing directions, conducting selected frontline screening and reporting observations. Its humanoid form supports direct engagement in public and enterprise spaces, with social interaction as the primary role.
The robot operates through Mozart, which coordinates MAX with Certis’ CASEY, OSCAR and ACE robot families and passes alerts and mission status into integrated command systems. Human officers retain responsibility for judgement, escalation and personal interaction, while MAX handles repeatable reception and observation tasks. Certis delivered its first MAX unit in May 2025 and continues to evaluate and expand its real-world applications.
