About Ridgeback
Ridgeback is Clearpath Robotics' midsize omnidirectional indoor mobile platform for research and mobile manipulation. Its omni-drive allows lateral and rotational positioning in constrained spaces, while onboard computing, laser scanners and an inertial measurement unit provide a base for navigation and perception development.
Native ROS and Gazebo support connects the platform to research software, including MoveIt workflows when a manipulator is added. Ridgeback supplies the mobile base; arms, autonomy, payload fixtures and application safety are configured separately.
