About XR-1
XR-1 was a CloudMinds humanoid demonstrator built around proprietary Smart Compliant Actuators and the cloud-based HARIX intelligence platform. Vision-guided grasping allowed the robot to handle objects, thread a needle and perform interactive service demonstrations, while remote human input could assist the cloud AI when autonomy was insufficient.
The platform was publicly demonstrated in 2019 through 5G connectivity programmes but is not part of a clearly maintained current CloudMinds product catalogue. XR-1 is a historical cloud-robotics development platform and is no longer presented as a current commercial service humanoid.
