About Racer-7-1.4
Racer-7-1.4 uses a compact six-axis arm and wrist designed for rapid motion across handling and process paths. Its reach allows it to serve conveyors, fixtures and nearby machines while carrying grippers, dispensers or finishing tools. Floor, ceiling and inclined mounting options let cell designers place the robot above equipment or within constrained production layouts.
Comau supplies the arm with its robot controller, programming software and application interfaces for connection to vision systems, safety equipment and factory controls. Integrators use the platform for component transfer, assembly, packaging, machine tending, adhesive application and light finishing. The robot is commercially available as part of Comau’s Racer family and can be incorporated into standard or custom automation cells.
