About Dot
Dot is a compact electric delivery robot measuring approximately one-tenth the size of a car. Lidar, radar, cameras and onboard AI provide full-surround perception across roads, cycle lanes, pavements, driveways and parking areas.
The locked insulated compartment opens through the DoorDash application when the order arrives. A removable battery supports more than six hours of operation, and remote operators can assist with unusual road situations. DoorDash's Autonomous Delivery Platform selects Dot for suitable orders and connects the vehicle with merchant tools and customer fulfilment.
