About drag&bot
drag&bot provided a graphical environment in which users assembled robot applications from reusable blocks for motion, grippers, cameras, process equipment and logic. Hardware abstraction allowed similar workflows to be configured across robots from different manufacturers without writing the complete cell programme in each vendor’s language.
KEBA acquired drag&bot GmbH in December 2021 and incorporated the software and development team into its industrial-automation organisation. Its concepts were integrated with the Kemro X platform, which combines robot, machine and HMI control in one environment. drag&bot is now a legacy product lineage, while KEBA is developing a successor based on current open standards.
