About Walker III
Walker III is an earlier DroidUp bipedal development platform built around lightweight construction and energy-efficient humanoid locomotion. The approximately 38-kilogram robot was used to test extended walking, balance and biomimetic movement and completed long-distance public walking demonstrations on one battery.
DroidUp subsequently shifted its public product focus toward Moya, which adds a more humanlike exterior, expressive interaction and a complete upper-body service-robot design. Walker III is a historical mobility and chassis platform that preceded the company’s current customer-facing humanoid product.
