About Black Swan

Black Swan is a 16-metre-wingspan cargo aircraft designed to operate from airstrips as short as approximately 400 metres, including unpaved sites. Its enclosed bay carries up to 350 kilograms or 3.5 cubic metres, supporting time-sensitive goods that are too urgent for road freight but do not justify a conventional crewed cargo aircraft.

The aircraft can be remotely piloted or fully automated through a mobile ground-control station using satellite communications. Dronamics is developing an airline-style operating network around the platform and holds a European light-UAS-operator certificate and international aviation codes. Black Swan has completed more than 500 test flights but remains in pre-commercial service development.
