About FIXAR 007 NG
FIXAR 007 NG uses a fixed-angle rotor arrangement to transition between vertical take-off and efficient wing-borne cruise without separate lift and forward-flight propulsion systems. The seven-kilogram aircraft has a 1.6-metre wingspan, carries up to two kilograms and is specified for flights of up to 70 minutes or 55 kilometres.
FIXAR Autopilot handles launch, transition, route execution and landing, while xGroundControl provides three-dimensional mission planning, terrain information and payload control. Interchangeable modules support photogrammetry, lidar, multispectral imaging and live video. The aircraft packs into one transport case and can be assembled by one operator for surveying, inspection, search and surveillance missions from unprepared sites.
