About EVS Series

The EVS Series generates vacuum electrically at the robot wrist or machine tool, combining the pump, valves, sensing and control electronics within one actuator. EVS01 is the lighter unit for small components, while EVS08 provides higher flow, stronger vacuum and greater payload capacity for larger or less airtight objects.

A robot or PLC commands suction and release through RS-485 or discrete I/O and receives vacuum status to confirm that a part has been acquired. This allows the machine to stop, retry or reject a cycle before moving an unsecured item. By removing plant compressed air, external ejectors and long pneumatic lines, EVS actuators simplify mobile, collaborative and reconfigurable pick-and-place cells and can be paired with cups adapted to different surfaces.
