About WEPG Series

WEPG combines a programmable electric parallel gripper with an integrated load-measurement layer. The three EtherCAT configurations pair compatible EPG grippers with 3-, 5- or 15-kilogram weighing capacity, allowing a robot to grasp, transfer and measure a part within the same process step.

Weight readings can be synchronised with robot motion and transmitted directly to the machine controller for dosing, sorting or quality decisions. A production cell can therefore verify a filled battery component, package or manufactured part without placing it on a separate scale and performing another transfer. The integrated architecture reduces handling time and preserves the programmable position and force control of the underlying EPG gripper.
