About DINERBOT T8
DINERBOT T8 combines visual SLAM and stereo sensing to map dining areas and travel between the kitchen and configured tables. Three stereo-vision sensors detect surrounding obstacles, including low objects, while route planning adjusts around customers and staff. Multiple carrying trays let one mission serve several destinations before the robot returns for another load.
Staff load the food, select the table sequence and dispatch the robot through the touchscreen. Arrival notifications tell customers or servers which items to remove, and fleet software coordinates traffic where several Keenon robots share the same venue. T8 is intended to absorb repeated walking while restaurant employees retain responsibility for loading, table service, collection and exception handling.
