About HUGIN Edge

HUGIN Edge is a mid-size autonomous underwater vehicle designed for rapid mobilisation from shore, vessels and uncrewed surface platforms. It combines the navigation and mission autonomy of KONGSBERG’s larger HUGIN systems with a smaller body suited to shallow and medium-depth survey, mine-countermeasure and infrastructure missions.

A modular payload section supports side-scan and synthetic-aperture sonar, cameras, sub-bottom profilers and environmental sensors. Automated mission planning, onboard processing and uncrewed launch-and-recovery workflows allow operators to deploy several vehicles across broad seabed areas. HUGIN Edge is offered for commercial survey and advanced defence programmes.
