About Kraken SAS
Kraken SAS combines synthetic-aperture imagery and interferometric bathymetry within one subsea payload. The system maintains constant along-track image resolution across the survey range and records seafloor relief and target geometry during the same pass.
Array options of 60, 120 and 180 centimetres support vehicles of different sizes, with pressure ratings reaching 6,000 metres. Survey ranges extend to 200 metres per side. Kraken integrates the sonar with AUVs, UUVs and tow bodies for mine countermeasures, infrastructure inspection, archaeology and ocean research.
