About MATRIX-3
MATRIX-3 is Matrix Robotics’ third-generation humanoid, combining distributed tactile sensing, biomimetic exterior materials and a cable-driven 27-degree-of-freedom hand. Fingertip sensors detect forces down to approximately 0.1 newtons, while integrated linear actuators and whole-body control support bipedal movement and coordinated manipulation.
The WAVE physical-world model handles scene interpretation, task planning and cross-task generalisation, while a separate motion layer coordinates gait and physical execution. Matrix has opened an early-access programme for selected partners, with pilot deployments scheduled from mid-2026 across commercial service, manufacturing, logistics and assistance applications.
