About TI-1 METIS

TI-1 METIS is a 3.5-kilogram autonomous counter-UAS interceptor with a stated maximum speed of 200 kilometres per hour, 20-kilometre range and operating altitude up to 3,000 metres. Ground-radar cueing and an AI-enabled thermal camera guide the aircraft toward hostile drones, which it defeats through kinetic impact.

One operator can supervise several interceptors while retaining authority across the engagement chain. TYTAN’s open architecture connects METIS with external sensors, command systems and other effectors, allowing it to form one layer within a wider air-defence network. Additively manufactured components are designed for scalable European production and lower cost per engagement.
