About MV-8 Komodo
MV-8 Komodo is a tracked diesel-electric unmanned vehicle for minefield and obstacle breaching. Its protected chassis carries Pearson Engineering equipment including ploughs, rollers and lane-marking systems, allowing engineering teams to clear routes from a stand-off position.
Remote control provides direct supervision during breaching, while Rheinmetall’s PATH autonomy kit supports future navigation and mission automation. MV-8 Komodo combines a DOK-ING base vehicle with Rheinmetall and Pearson Engineering mission systems. The modular platform can also accept firefighting and hazardous-material configurations.
