About NEXOR
NEXOR is a hovering autonomous underwater vehicle designed to manoeuvre close to submerged structures while maintaining stable position and orientation. Its navigation stack combines Doppler velocity logging, inertial sensing, USBL positioning and stereo cameras, enabling planned inspection routes around offshore foundations, pipelines, tunnels and other subsea assets.
Mission payloads can include ultrasonic-thickness equipment, forward-looking or side-scan sonar, environmental probes, manipulators and laser-measurement systems. Operators configure the payload around inspection, scientific or defence requirements, then use the vehicle for autonomous data collection or supervised intervention. The platform remains underwater throughout its mission and is not designed to transition between aerial and subsea operation.
