About Spool Welding Robot (SWR)
Novarc’s Spool Welding Robot combines a three-axis collaborative arm with pipe positioners, welding power equipment and machine vision. SWR MIG, TIG/MIG and TIP-TIG configurations support different materials and weld procedures across pipe diameters from approximately two to 60 inches.
NovEye monitors the joint and assists or automates torch positioning, while NovSync coordinates welding parameters and NovData records production and quality information. A compact cell can work with up to five positioners, allowing one operator to prepare and supervise several welds. Novarc supplies the robot, integration, process setup and continuing production support as a turnkey fabrication system.
