About Triton AUSV
Triton combines a wind sail, solar panels and an underwater propulsion system within one autonomous vessel. It travels on the surface for communications and energy collection and submerges to execute acoustic, environmental and defence missions below the waterline.
The platform carries modular sensors for maritime intelligence, anti-submarine warfare, ocean science and offshore-energy monitoring. Surface and submerged operating modes allow one vehicle to collect data across the air-sea interface. Ocean Aero supplies mission planning, remote control and fleet operation.
