About OT-2
OT-2 uses two motorised pipette mounts above an 11-slot deck to automate liquid transfer across plates, tubes, reservoirs and compatible modules. Swappable single- and eight-channel pipettes support PCR preparation, ELISA, normalisation and sample-processing workflows.
Protocols are created through Opentrons software or its open Python API, and custom labware definitions support non-standard consumables. Temperature, magnetic and heater-shaker modules add incubation and separation steps. OT-2 is sold with protocol support and optional applications engineering.
