About Slimˣ 13

Slimˣ 13 is a compact 1.3-megapixel optical motion-capture camera with a native rate of 240 frames per second and selectable reduced-resolution capture up to 1,000 frames per second. The global-shutter sensor provides stated three-dimensional accuracy of ±0.3 millimetres across a typical nine-by-nine-metre volume.

The 68.6-millimetre-square body uses Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet and onboard marker processing. It tracks passive and uniquely identified active markers and operates within OptiTrack’s Motive software for calibration, rigid-body tracking and real-time data streaming. Robotics teams can use the system for robot localisation, calibration, control validation and external ground truth.
