About OverDrive
OverDrive provides localisation, perception, route planning and vehicle control for ground platforms operating beyond prepared roads. Its passive sensor architecture maps and traverses mud, vegetation, slopes, dust, snow and other natural terrain without requiring detailed prior maps, fixed infrastructure or continuous satellite navigation.
The software is vehicle agnostic and can be integrated with customer drive-by-wire systems, sensors and mission equipment. One operator can assign intent and supervise several autonomous platforms without continuously steering each vehicle. OverDrive is deployed across US defence programmes and underpins Overland AI’s own ULTRA vehicle as well as third-party tactical platforms.
