About Pandroid

Pandroid is built as a self-contained target for physical-AI experiments rather than a task-specific service robot. The 50 cm-tall platform uses a tracked 60 × 40 cm footprint, two six-degree-of-freedom arms with rotary grippers and a 20 cm lift stage. Each arm reaches 45 cm; payload is rated at 1 kg continuously and 3 kg at peak, with 80 cm maximum system reach.

Four 1080p cameras with 172-degree fields of view provide head and hand perspectives, while an IMU supports motion sensing. The onboard computer runs NixOS, exposes normal Linux access over SSH and can run user-supplied models. Pantograph also includes a teleoperation application and supports Oculus Quest control.

The tracked base is specified for carpet, tile, hardwood, sidewalks, grass and paths at up to 2.4 mph. Battery life is listed at up to eight hours with an approximately four-hour charge time. Pantograph advertises a US$4,199 starting price and plans to open purchasing later in 2026, so the system remains early-access and precommercial.
