About PASEO ISTAR

PASEO ISTAR combined Safran’s stabilised panoramic sight with PRAMACOM-HT’s MyVector digital communications network. The sight acquired imagery, target coordinates and situational information from an infantry fighting vehicle, while the network exchanged that information with other vehicles, command elements and dismounted soldiers in real time.

The configuration was proposed for Czech infantry fighting vehicles and other combat or fire-support platforms requiring integration into a wider C4ISTAR architecture. It linked observation, target designation and collaborative fire workflows through one vehicle-mounted system. Safran and PRAMACOM-HT announced the joint design in 2018; the ISTAR configuration remains a historical programme designation associated with the broader PASEO sight family.
