About Adam

Adam is PNDbotics’ modular humanoid family, with body configurations designed around different research, manipulation and mobility requirements. The platform combines proprietary joints and actuators with onboard perception and control hardware, allowing developers to work with a complete robot or incorporate PNDbotics components into their own humanoid architecture.

The accompanying software environment supports locomotion control, simulation, reinforcement learning and imitation-learning workflows. Adam Lite has been used as a research reference for transferring learned bipedal skills from simulation to a physical 1.6-metre platform, while other Adam configurations extend the architecture into richer upper-body manipulation and commercial development.
