About ProHand

ProHand uses an anthropomorphic five-finger structure with 22 degrees of freedom to reproduce coordinated finger flexion, abduction and thumb opposition. Multiple articulated joints distribute motion along each digit, supporting precision pinches and whole-hand grasps. A removable ProGlove layer supplies contact and interaction sensing around the mechanical hand and links the hardware to Proception AI’s data-capture system.

The hand is intended for robot-learning research, humanoid integration and development of dexterous manipulation policies. Human demonstrations collected through the matching glove workflow can be retargeted onto the robotic hand with aligned sensing and kinematics. Proception began shipping initial Gen1 units to research and robotics customers in June 2026 through direct commercial orders.
