About Dragonwing RB3 Gen 2 Vision Kit

The RB3 Gen 2 Vision Kit is built around Qualcomm’s QCS6490 processor and adds camera hardware to the core development platform. CPU, GPU, DSP and AI acceleration support concurrent vision and machine-learning workloads at the edge, while the included imaging interfaces and cameras let developers prototype perception without designing a custom carrier board first.

Linux software, Qualcomm AI Hub and development tools support model conversion, optimisation and deployment, with additional integration available through Edge Impulse, Foundries.io and a Visual Studio Code extension. Teams can build smart cameras, industrial inspection systems and robot perception prototypes on the kit, validate performance and then migrate the QCS6490-based design into production hardware.
