About Arqus

Arqus is Qualisys’ high-performance optical motion-capture camera family for passive and active marker tracking across large volumes. Available sensor and lens configurations trade resolution, capture speed and field of view, with stated three-dimensional resolution spanning approximately 0.03–0.06 millimetres and active-marker detection extending to 50 metres.

The cameras include high-power illumination, onboard image processing and synchronisation interfaces for force plates, video and other measurement equipment. Qualisys Track Manager combines observations from several cameras into marker, rigid-body and skeleton data. Robotics laboratories use Arqus systems for external localisation, calibration, controller evaluation and repeatable motion ground truth.
