About CAMCOPTER S-100

CAMCOPTER S-100 is an unmanned helicopter with a conventional rotor system, piston engine and payload bays for electro-optical cameras, radar, electronic-support equipment and other mission sensors. Automatic take-off, waypoint flight and landing functions allow the aircraft to operate beyond direct visual control from land sites or vessel decks. Its vertical-flight architecture removes the need for a runway or launch apparatus.

The system includes the aircraft, ground-control station, communications links and mission payload interfaces. Operators supervise routes and sensor tasks while onboard flight controls maintain the vehicle and execute programmed mission segments. Schiebel supplies the S-100 to military, government and maritime customers for intelligence, surveillance, search and rescue, border security and environmental monitoring, together with training, maintenance and integration support.
