About SHYLD
SHYLD combines lidar, radar, infrared sensing and edge GPU processing to maintain a live three-dimensional model of a clinical room. The system recognises occupancy, movement and workflow state locally, allowing hospitals to analyse room utilisation, turnover, traffic and missing equipment without relying on conventional identifiable video.
Integrated UV-C modules can apply light to defined unoccupied zones and record the delivered coverage, but disinfection is one application of the broader spatial-intelligence platform. The system can trigger workflow alerts, document room status and receive over-the-air updates while retaining operational processing at the edge.
