About TX SCARA

TX SCARA was engineered to fit behind existing refrigerated convenience-store shelving and replenish cans and PET bottles up to two litres. GORDON scans product availability, selects a grasp point and generates the motion from stock storage to the customer-facing shelf without requiring a human to command each placement.

When an autonomous attempt fails, the system shifts to Telexistence mode and a remote operator completes the action through the internet. Beginning in 2022, Telexistence installed the robots across 300 FamilyMart stores, with each system designed to replenish as many as 1,000 beverages per day. Newer installations have shifted to the more compact TX Ghost architecture.
