About Mako
Mako is an 80-inch modular underwater vehicle with six independently controlled degrees of freedom. Configurations provide up to 12 hours of endurance, operation to 5,000 feet, range reaching 12 nautical miles and payload capacity up to 250 pounds.
The vehicle is assembled from nose, compute, battery, payload-connector and thruster modules. Two-kilowatt-hour battery sections can be stacked for longer missions, and universal interfaces accept sonar, cameras and robotic equipment. Ulysses builds Mako for inspection, intervention, environmental and maritime-security work.
