About UR15
UR15 is a six-axis collaborative arm with a 15-kilogram rated payload, 17.5-kilogram extended payload mode and 1,300-millimetre reach. Newly designed joints support a maximum tool-centre-point speed of five metres per second, while stated pose repeatability of ±0.05 millimetres supports fast handling and machine-loading cycles.
The 40.7-kilogram arm uses Universal Robots’ PolyScope environment, hand-guided teaching and the UR ecosystem of certified grippers, vision systems and application kits. IP65 and cleanroom configurations extend deployment across palletising, welding, machine tending and material handling. An application safety assessment remains required before collaborative operation at production speed.
