About Motion 2
Motion 2 is VinMotion’s second-generation full-size humanoid, developed around improved gait stability, whole-body balance and higher-load manipulation. The platform uses proprietary smart joint modules and is reported to support lifting loads of up to 40 kg in selected configurations. Onboard perception and control allow it to move through structured indoor environments, while automatic charging is intended to support longer deployment cycles.
VinMotion pairs the robot with human-in-the-loop infrastructure for collecting demonstrations, training behaviours and supervising early deployments. A human operator can assist when the autonomy encounters a difficult situation, with those interventions becoming additional training data. Motion 2 forms part of an end-to-end deployment system combining the robot with training, human supervision and charging infrastructure. The platform remains in early deployment, with commercial availability still developing.
