About WSG-FMF Sensor Fingers
WSG-FMF Sensor Fingers measure the force applied directly at the gripper’s contact points. Strain gauges and local signal processing are integrated into each finger, giving a compatible WSG gripper closed-loop force information without a separate amplifier or external force sensor.
The modules connect through the gripper sensor port and use replaceable polyamide contact surfaces that can be exchanged for application-specific geometries. They support delicate handling, assembly and test workflows where commanded motor force does not fully represent the pressure applied to the workpiece.
