About MSC Electric Vacuum Actuator Series
Changing Tek’s MSC series integrates electrically generated vacuum into a compact end-effector actuator. The CTMSC1F50.00, A and B variants create and release suction in under 0.3 seconds and are rated for loads up to 2 kg. The three variants weigh between 190 and 350 g, with IP40 protection across the current line.
The actuator removes the need to route central compressed-air equipment to every robot, making it suitable for compact cells and mobile manipulators. An integrator connects the module to a suction cup or custom vacuum tooling, selects the pickup surface and programs the robot to generate vacuum, verify the grasp, transfer the item and release it. Typical uses include sheets, packages, glass and other flat or delicate objects that are difficult to hold with rigid mechanical fingers.
