About Blue Workforce
Blue Workforce developed RAGNAR, a lightweight industrial robot based on a parallel-arm architecture. The mechanical design placed the motors close to the base and used carbon-fibre links to reduce moving mass, supporting rapid pick-and-place motion across packaging and food-production cells. The robot was supplied with vision, gripper and control options for handling products moving on conveyors.
The Danish company entered bankruptcy before establishing a continuing independent commercial operation. OnRobot acquired RAGNAR’s design rights, machinery, inventory and tooling and hired twelve members of the development team. Blue Workforce ceased to exist as an operating company, while selected technology and engineering capability continued within OnRobot.
