About Dronus
Dronus is building NEST as elevated, distributed infrastructure rather than a standalone ground dock. Nodes mount to poles, towers, rooftops and existing industrial structures, then coordinate aircraft through Aerial Mesh software so a vehicle can launch from one node and recover at another. Current configurations pair the network with K250X, K500-series, K3 and Krypton aircraft for urban monitoring, warehouse inventory, hazardous-zone inspection and extended-range security missions.
Each node automates take-off, mission execution, landing, charging and redeployment, while onboard and edge processing turns camera, thermal, gas, barcode or other payload data into operator-ready outputs. The system can use wired, Wi-Fi or cellular links and continue operating without continuous cloud access. Dronus reports deployments in Europe and Asia, including work with Singapore’s HTX, and has developed EASA design-verification and ATEX-certified configurations for populated and explosive-atmosphere operations.
