About Intel
Intel supplies the general-purpose compute, integrated graphics, neural-processing and networking layers used in many industrial and robotic systems. Core Ultra processors combine CPU, GPU and NPU resources for mixed control and inference workloads, while Xeon and accelerator products serve higher-power edge servers and training infrastructure. Ethernet and time-sensitive-networking components connect machines with local industrial systems.
The Intel Robotics AI Suite packages ROS 2, OpenVINO inference, simulation and real-time control components for Intel hardware. Developers can run perception and planning on the main processor while connecting deterministic motor and I/O networks through CANopen, EtherCAT and related interfaces. The software layer is intended to reduce integration work between an AI application and the machine controller, particularly for mobile robots, manipulators and industrial physical-AI systems.
