Intel's AscTec acquisition ended in product retirement and third-party support transfer

Intel acquired Ascending Technologies and continued its industrial-drone technology through the Falcon 8+ programme. Intel later ended the relevant drone products and transferred continuing Falcon 8 support to Topcon, so the installed product line did not remain an actively developed Intel robotics business.

TurtleBot Euclid became an open design after Clearpath cancelled the commercial product

Clearpath cancelled its TurtleBot Euclid offering and released the mechanical design and code openly. That preserved material for community reuse, but it did not preserve a sold and supported Euclid product; the continuing TurtleBot ecosystem should not be treated as evidence that Euclid remained commercially available.
