About MMI
Symani uses two robotic arms carrying NanoWrist instruments with seven degrees of freedom at the tip. A surgeon operates the system from a seated console, and motion scaling converts larger hand movements into movements between seven and 20 times smaller at the instrument.
The platform filters tremor while preserving direct surgeon control during suturing, vessel connection and delicate tissue handling. It works with standard surgical microscopes and has been used in more than 1,000 clinical procedures across lymphatic, reconstructive and other microsurgical applications.
