About MUSE
MUSE develops mobile service robots for retail stores. Its Armo platform combines autonomous in-store movement with interchangeable modules for digital-signage promotion, shelf-image capture, stockout checking and goods transport.
MUSE was founded in April 2022 and is based in Tokyo. The company began testing Armo with Welcia Pharmacy in October 2024. In July 2026 it announced a six-month expansion from one operating store to five stores: all five would use promotional units, while the existing Koto-Hirano store would continue autonomous shelf imaging and stockout checks.
